UKLCC Lung Cancer Survey - Survey deadline extended to 11 July 2016
The UK Lung Cancer Coalition (UKLCC) is a coalition of the UK’s leading lung cancer experts, senior NHS professionals, charities and healthcare companies. Established in 2005, the UKLCC’s founding ambition was to double five year survival rates for lung cancer by 2015. Estimates now suggest that this goal has been met in England, with improvements also seen in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Looking to the next ten years, the UKLCC is now aiming to set a new survival ambition.
As part of their plans the UKLCC want to hear from all healthcare professionals including GPs and nurses and those working in lung cancer across the care pathway on how they believe we can improve people’s chance of survival, right from the point of diagnosis and also from patients and carers on what more could be done to improve people’s experiences of treatment, right from the point of diagnosis, and give them the best chance of survival and good quality of life.
The survey deadline has been extended to 11th July 2016.
The findings will be used to help support campaigning work to improve five-year lung cancer survival.
Surveys can be completed online using the links below or you can download a paper copy to fill in offline and post to the UKLCC.
