After 20 years as an Editor of the Society's journal – initially as an Assistant Editor, then Deputy Editor, and the last 6 years as Joint Editor-in-Chief, Dr Paul Stephenson will be retiring on December 31st this year, as Joint Editor-in-Chief, npj Primary Care Respiratory Medicine. Paul has been instrumental in steering the Journal on its successful journey to become a highly acclaimed academic Journal, now published as npj Primary Care Respiratory Medicine in conjunction with Nature Publishing Group. PCRS-UK is deeply grateful to Paul for his imaginative leadership, hard work, commitment, and loyalty to the Journal over so many years.
As a result of Paul's retirement we are currently seeking a Deputy Editor-in-Chief to work with the Editor-in-Chief Professor Aziz Sheikh and the editorial team. The preferred candidate should be able to demonstrate strong editorial decision-making skills, the ability to maintain robust editorial processes, and advocacy for primary care respiratory medicine and for the journal.
