PCRS in Conversation - Allergic Rhinitis

At the Primary Care Respiratory Society (PCRS), we believe in 'optimal'; respiratory health for all. Our aim is that, together, we can benefit every person with, or at risk of, lung disease.

As we move from Winter into the beauty of Spring, as the trees start to produce their pollen, we begin to see an increase in patients with symptoms of Allergic Rhinitis.

To help us understand this inflammatory disorder, we had Dr Glenis Scadding join us for our March 2025 In Conversation.

Glenis is an Honorary Consultant Physician in Allergy & Rhinology and Honorary Associate Professor in Immunity and Infection, whose aim is to improve the quality of life of people suffering from allergy associated upper respiratory tract diseases - the perfect guest for Katherine to converse with about a topic so regularly seen as trivial by both patients and health care professionals, despite it affecting approximately 20% of the population¹ and being the root cause of a high level of morbidity and health care costs².
