Key knowledge skills and training for clinicians providing respiratory care
There are no mandatory training requirements for healthcare professionals delivering respiratory care and the quality of care and patient pathways are variable throughout the country depending on the knowledge, skills, competence and confidence of those delivering care.
Using Fit To Care will support you to undertake a baseline training needs assessment to highlighted strengths of respiratory services, and gaps in care delivery which could be better supported with appropriate education and training.
