Jackie Reynolds
Jackie spent her early career in Community Pharmacy but for the last 20 years has been working as a directly employed Pharmacist in a GP Surgery and a prescribing advisor for Aneurin Bevan where she is the Primary Care Respiratory Lead Pharmacist. She is also the Cluster Lead for Caerphilly East. Following an independent prescriber qualification in 2013 and a Respiratory MSc in 2019 her interest in respiratory medicine has continued to grow. She is a member of the Welsh Respiratory Network (formerly the Respiratory Health Implementation Group) and has been involved with the development of the Welsh Asthma and COPD guidelines and has provided educational resources for the NHS Wales Respiratory apps. She is a member of Respiratory Alliance Wales and Greener Practice Wales and is regularly involved in respiratory educational events both within her own Healthboard and across Wales. She has also undertaken various projects to improve care for people with respiratory disease focusing on value-based healthcare and champions a patient centred holistic approach to reducing the environmental impact of inhalers to benefit both patients and the planet.
