Samuel Finnikin
Dr Finnikin graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2007. He undertook both clinical and academic training in the West Midlands where he developed an interest in shared decision making, personalised care and the prevention of cardiovascular disease. As a GP, Dr Finnikin combines his clinical work with research at the University of Birmingham. He has been a Fellow for Evidence and Values at the Royal College of General Practitioners (2018/19) and National Clinical Specialist Advisor in personalised care for NHSE (2021-23). These leadership roles focused on ensuring people are at the centre of their healthcare.
