Nazir hussain
Nazir is a Specialist Respiratory Pharmacist at The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust and Respiratory Workstream Lead Pharmacist for the Black Country ICB. He was one of the first primary care pharmacists accredited as a Pharmacist with a Special Interest (PhwSI) in Respiratory Care.
Nazir is passionate about improving respiratory health and addressing health inequalities. He has developed innovative, patient-focused services in GP practices, providing more accessible, supportive care for people with respiratory conditions, especially those from underserved and marginalised communities across the region.
His work is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and a belief in integrated care. Nazir works closely with colleagues across all levels of the healthcare system and contributes to national committees shaping respiratory care policy. He has been shortlisted for several national awards in recognition of his commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of respiratory patients.
