Beverley Bostock
Bev is a hands-on nurse practitioner in Gloucestershire, Editor in Chief of Practice Nurse Journal, and sits on the executive board of the Association of Respiratory Nurses and chairs the Respiratory diseases committee. She has an MSc in Respiratory Care and an MA in Medical Ethics and Law and is interested in how ethical, evidence-based care can be implemented in challenging times. Bev is an Asthma Champion for NHS England and sat on the Severe Asthma and FeNO Implementation Groups. She was also on the NICE Asthma Quality Standards group and the National Review of Asthma Deaths. She writes regularly for the nursing press on a range of subjects. Bev has been a Queen’s Nurse since 2015. This is a title awarded to individual nurses who have demonstrated a high level of commitment to patient care and nursing practice.
