Elizabeth Angier
Liz is a portfolio GP who has worked in both a tertiary allergy unit and the community. She has an MSc in allergy from Southampton and is currently doing qualitative research there looking at young people aged 13-25 with food allergy at risk of anaphylaxis how to support self-management. She has been involved in guideline committees with the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (BSACI) and the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI). She has been a previous chair of BSACI primary care group and helped form the EAACI primary care group. She has led on writing the GP with extended role (GPWER) framework for allergy which is currently being piloted. She is also a locality primary care lead with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight (HIOW) integrated care system. She is committed to improving the care of allergy across the health system.
