Tak Matsuda

Tak is an experienced solicitor. Most recently, he founded his own law firm focussing on advising tech start-ups on funding, sales & acquisitions and commercial contracts.

He has worked in Europe and Asia, where he led project teams on complex transactions. He was formerly a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright. Prior to that, he was a senior associate at Allen & Overy, having started his legal career with Slaughter and May. Before starting legal training, he was a junior doctor having originally graduated in medicine.

Tak is also a visiting lecturer at BPP University Law School and a supervising partner at qLegal, Queen Mary University of London. He was previously an honorary lecturer in commercial law at Bangor University.

He brings to the position of trustee, extensive experience in project management, corporate governance and professional education and development.
