Committees and Trustees

The charity is run by a board of 5 trustees who work closely with the Primary Care Respiratory Society UK Executive and chief executive.

The Primary Care Respiratory Society UK Executive (previously known as the general committee) is the main standing committee of Primary Care Respiratory Society UK that is responsible for advising on the development and delivery of the activities of the charity. This includes establishing sub-committees and other working groups as required to conduct and implement the charitable activities of the organisation.

The Primary Care Respiratory Society UK Executive consists of 8 elected members, at least 5 of whom must be GPs and up to 4 co-opted members. All members of the Primary Care Respiratory Society UK Executive must be members of Primary Care Respiratory Society UK.

The Primary Care Respiratory Society UK Executive has several sub-committees, these include, the education committee, the conference organising committee, the nurse committee, the respiratory leaders management team and the website committee. There is also an editorial board which reports to the Primary Care Respiratory Society UK trustees.
